Receipts
Receipts is a private phone app, built by and for Marc Abla, for keeping track of expense receipts.
What it does
- Photographs a paper receipt (or a gas pump display) with the phone camera and crops it like a scanner.
- Reads the vendor, date and amounts off the picture.
- Lets you tag each receipt as a business or personal expense, with a category, who was there, and which card paid.
- Files business receipts to the organization's OneDrive, and personal receipts to the owner's own Google Drive, as PDFs sorted by year and month, with a spreadsheet log.
- Keeps track of receipts paid with the wrong card until they are settled.
Google account access
When connected to Google, the app creates a folder named Receipts in your Google Drive and saves receipt PDFs and a log sheet there. It can only see and change files it created itself. Details are in the privacy policy.
This app is not offered to the public. Questions: marcabla1@gmail.com.
